A 16-day heritage tour of the incredible state of Rajasthan is what dreams are made of. Known as the Land of the Kings, Rajasthan is one of the best examples of India's age-old grandeur and opulence.

Beginning in the incredible city of Delhi to experience the sights and sounds of the capital city, we move on to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Head on to the pink city of Jaipur, where the pink-hued monuments like the Hawa Mahal welcome you to the grandeur of this city. From Jaipur to the colorful town of Pushkar. Strolling through the winding alleys of Pushkar and shopping in the vibrant markets here is an experience in itself. Set off to enjoy a wildlife safari into the forests here.

The city of lakes, Udaipur is the next stop. This crown jewel of the state of Rajasthan is surrounded by the majestic Aravalli Hills from all around. Here you will see the City Palace, the Lake Pichola, and the island of Jag Mandir. A trip to the Rohet Village also lets you see the edge of the Thar Desert, where you experience a desert safari. Day 1 Delhi, Welcome to Incredible India
You will be greeted & assisted by our representative at Delhi international airport and later transferred to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till next day.
Day 2 Delightful Tour of Old and New Delhi
Your day would begin after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, you get yourself ready for a personalized guide tour, which begins from the Old and Historic Delhi.  The first halt is Jama Masjid and Red Fort. Then the guide will arrange a cycle rickshaw tour, which will let you catch a closer insight of old era and the very illustrious Anarkali Bazaar of Chandni Chowk. At Chandni Chowk, we would further take you to Khari Baoli Spice Market – the largest spice market of Asia, which is a true delight for eyes.  Later, you will visit the Humayun’s Tomb and the 12th century Qutab Minar. Afterwards, the imposing boulevards and buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Residence), the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys and India Gate will be experienced from the vehicle. Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed to Jaipur. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and have a relaxing afternoon.
Day 3 Evening with Local Family
Spend evening with the local family. It’s a great way to have a local experience in Jaipur. You will experience a great insight into the lifestyle of Indian family.  You can take part in cooking with the local family. Get a taste of true Indian hospitality thanks to this cooking lesson and meal in the home of a local family. You will learn few local dishes and how to prepare them with fresh ingredients.  End the experience by enjoying your meal, accompanied by lots of lively conversation, with the family. Day 4 Jaipur, The Pink City Tour
Enthralling, historical Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state, Rajasthan. Renowned globally for its colored gems, the capital city of Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of a metropolis. Since the color pink was symbolic of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colors the city makes for a marvelous spectacle to behold. The morning is fresh as ever for you, and this is when you will have an excursion to Amer Fort. This palace is laid out over four layers and sits beside the shimmering Maota Lake.  Later visit the Maharaja's City Palace (the home of the erstwhile royal family) and UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar space observatory. Afterwards stop for picture at Hawa Mahal (the Palace of winds). Breakfast
Day 5 Jaipur - Deogarh/Jojawar
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Deogarh/Jojawar.  The drive will takes you through an enchanting forestscape and narrow roads, which are at times occupied by herds of cattle, who have to be slowly shephered out of the way. After hotel check-in, you may go for Village Walk. The small village is a hidden gem in the county, exploring it on foot accompanied by one of the staff guides is a great way to experience life here as it unfolds before your eyes. Today is free day to spend at leisure or indulge in some of the activities offered by your hotel by your own expense. Breakfast
Day 6 Experience Countrylife
Today is free day to enjoy your heritage hotel and multiple experiences offered by them. You may experience Hiking in The Aravallis, Cycling Trail, Artisan Walk, Culinary WorkShop, Bird Watching, Yoga Classes, Visit to a local school, Farm Visit and many more (Own expense). Breakfast
Day 7 Rural Rail Ride
After breakfast, take a rural rail ride. Chugging on Train no 222 - you will have the opportunity to go on the train safari in Deogarh. It’s an amazing two hours spent on a meter gauge train which is the lifeline of locals. A nice pleasure trip in to the Aravali Hills by Meter guage train on 1930’s British Track. The track consists of 17 U shape bridges and 2 tunnels with lots of monkeys. The journey starts from Kamblighat (10 minute drive from Deogarh Mahal) where the station master single handedly mans everything.

The ride ends at Phulad and we will drive back to Deogarh/Jojawar which takes about 30 minutes.
Day 7 Deogarh/Jojawar - Jodhpur, India’s exotic ‘Blue City’
Afterwards, take the road drive to Jodhpur. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Relive the time in hand in complete leisure and composure. Breakfast
Day 8 Discover Jodhpur
After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Blue City. Now get all set to explore the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, placed amidst the brown sands of the Thar. One of country's largest forts, it was erected by Rao Jodha in 1459, on a 150 m high hill. A part of it has been turned into a museum that consists of royal palanquins, armory, paintings, costumes, personal belongings of the royalty and more. Do not miss visiting the colorful Turban Gallery. Afterwards visit the Jaswant Thada.  This milky-white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, sitting above a small lake 1km northeast of Mehrangarh, is an array of whimsical domes. It’s a welcome, peaceful spot after the hubbub of the city, and the views across to the fort and over the city are superb. Later you may also visit the splendid Umaid Bhawan Palace and its fabulous Museum. Rest of the day is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 9 Jodhpur - Narlai/Ghanerao, Treasure Lost in Fold of Time
After breakfast, drive to Narlai/Ghanerao.  The drive will takes you through an enchanting forestscape and narrow roads, which are at times occupied by herds of cattle, who have to be slowly shephered out of the way. Today is free day to spend at leisure or indulge in some of the activities offered by your hotel by your own expense. Day 9 Mystical Dinner at Historic Stepwells - Optional
Wrap up the day aptly—with dinner at a 16th-century stepwell. Lit by nearly half a thousand earthen lamps, the stepwell looks ethereal under the starry sky.  Your ride for the occasion will be an ox cart, which will cover the distance of a few kilometers from the hunting lodge slowly.  At the stepwell, folk singers crooned Rajasthani melodies as you will be served authentic dishes from the royal era of the Rajputs. Day 10 Leopard Safari
Early morning, leave for Leopard safari. Leopard Sighting Jeep Safari Early morning head for your first jungle safari in an open 4WD jeep in your ever-growing pursuit for animals and the imposing sight of leopards. The rugged Godwad countryside is an ideal site for Leopards. Hop on a jeep and head to the forest in search of the big cat. Return back to your hotel for breakfast.
Day 10 Narlai/Ghanerao - Udaipur
After breakfast, drive to reach Udaipur. On arrival, check in at your hotel.  Remaining day is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 11 Explore Udaipur
After breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Udaipur, which includes City Palace, Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum (has an interesting collection of dresses, turbans, musical instruments, dolls, paintings, the traditional puppets etc.).  Your visit to Shilpgram craft village will be a new experience altogether. Enjoy an afternoon cruise on the calm waters of Lake Pichola in Udaipur (subject to water levels) and later visit the island of Jag mandir. Remaining time is at leisure till next day. Breakfast
Day 12 Udaipur - Chittorgarh Fort
Morning after breakfast, we will transfer you to Chittorgarh (Often used as journey breaker). On arrival, visit Chittorgarh Fort - One of the largest forts in India. Chittor sprawls across a hilltop overlooking the town of Chittorgarh. Its precinct contains grand old palaces, gates, temples and towers – its magnificence has been inspiring travellers and artists alike for centuries. Overnight stay in Chittorgarh. Breakfast
Day 13 Chittorgarh - Ranthambore
After breakfast, drive towards Ranthambhore. It boasts being home to a large number of mammals, reptile, and bird species. The national park in Rajasthan is primarily known as the home to Royal Bengal Tigers. Other than this, the national park also has a rich population of leopards, sloth bears, several deer species like chital (spotted deer), marsh crocodile, palm civet, jackal, desert fox, serpent eagle, waterfowl that along with others make 40 species of mammals, 35 species of reptiles and 320 species of birds. Reach Ranthambore by afternoon and make a check in at your wildlife resort.  Have the relaxing evening as you take the enjoyable retreat in an appetising lunch and dinner. Day 14 Ranthambhore, Living The Rustic Life
Early morning head for your first shared jungle safari in your ever-growing pursuit for animals and the imposing sight of tigers. If lucky, you may get a chance to see the king of the jungle trading the rugged terrains in his natural habitat. After lunch and spending a brief leisure time, you continue with an afternoon shared safari trail inside the jungle to get the chance to encounter the elusive tiger.  Return back to your resort and enjoy a comfy stay all night. Please note that Tiger sighting is sheer luck. There is no guaranteed Tiger sighting as they are in their natural environment.

Day 15 Ranthambore - Agra, Tour Of Romance And Exaltation Begins
After breakfast, pack yourself for a road trip to Agra – the Old Capital of Mughals.  On arrival, check-in at your hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 16 Taj Mahal Sunrise Visit
At dawn, visit the incomparable Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world and symbol of love, to observe the effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this masterpiece. This momentary reflection of romance will captivate your heart by awe.  Return back to your hotel for a delectable breakfast, while a part of you is still living in romanticism.
Day 16 Agra Fort
After brief refresh, visit the Agra Fort- a UNESCO world heritage site - known for its fine Mughal architecture during the day. The Agra Fort, which was once the lavish residence of the Mughal Emperors of India, showcases immaculate architectural grandeur.  Walk through this historic fort and explore its impressive buildings and structures, including the Moti Masjid, Musamman Burj, Diwan-i-Khas, Shahjahani Mahal, and Jahangiri Mahal.
Day 16 Agra - Delhi
Later you will be transferred to Delhi. On arrival check - in to the hotel.  Rest of the evening is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 17 Delhi Departure
This glorious morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to New Delhi International Airport for your flight for your onward journey.  Board your flight and fly back with memories to cherish for life. Tour ends. Breakfast

Booking Policy
Once you’ve selected your desired tour, all you need to do is forward a deposit of 20% plus air and train tickets costs per booking per trip to secure your place. Bank transfer to Commonwealth Account  or All Major Cards Accepted (Surcharge may apply)
You won’t need to pay your final balance until 60 days prior to your tour start date. If your booking is made within 60 days of the tour start date, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Note: International and domestic airline tickets and rail tickets are subject to full payment at the time of booking and are subject to respective airline booking, and cancellation policies.
Cancellation Policy with Standard - Deluxe - Premium Hotels
  • You can cancel right up to 30 days before the tour starts and we will refund your full land deposit and any progress payments made by you within 14 business days.
    • Note: Cancellation and rebooking policies are only valid for land part of tour not Safari Tickets, International and domestic airline tickets and train tickets.
    • Note: International and domestic airline tickets and train tickets are subject to full payment at the time of booking and are subject to respective airline and train operators policies for booking, rebooking and cancellation.

  • If your tour is cancelled due to government travel restrictions, your deposit and any progress payments will be carried forward as full credit towards future travel with us with Zero fees.
  • If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. Vibrant India Tours will endeavour to recover as much of your funds as we can on your behalf or negotiate a credit for future use.

  • If you have to amend or cancel the tour from 30 days before the tour start date to the end date of the tour, any cost arising from it will be your liability and payable by you within 24 hours of amendment.

Single Traveller Supplement
For solo travellers, a mandatory single supplement applies.
Passport Validity
Customers are required to provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days prior to the departure date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. In this instance, customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred.
Luggage
You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to domestic airline, default Check-in luggage is 15kg and Carry-on luggage is 7kg.
Fitness Level Required / Mobility
Our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair access, so, unfortunately, our tours are currently not suitable for wheelchair users and those less mobile.
Please note: a general level of fitness will be required. If you have any concerns please consult your healthcare provider prior to purchase/travel.
Sightseeing
Please note: In the event that entrance to a site is affected by changes in operating hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary where possible, will be adjusted or similar activity will be offered in its place (subject to availability).

This includes booking changes requested by you, including but not limited to those changes requiring an airline ticket or a Purchase Confirmation reissue.
