A 16-day heritage tour of the incredible state of Rajasthan is what dreams are made of. Known as the Land of the Kings, Rajasthan is one of the best examples of India's age-old grandeur and opulence.

Beginning in the incredible city of Delhi to experience the sights and sounds of the capital city, we move on to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Head on to the pink city of Jaipur, where the pink-hued monuments like the Hawa Mahal welcome you to the grandeur of this city. From Jaipur to the colorful town of Pushkar. Strolling through the winding alleys of Pushkar and shopping in the vibrant markets here is an experience in itself. Set off to enjoy a wildlife safari into the forests here.

The city of lakes, Udaipur is the next stop. This crown jewel of the state of Rajasthan is surrounded by the majestic Aravalli Hills from all around. Here you will see the City Palace, the Lake Pichola, and the island of Jag Mandir. A trip to the Rohet Village also lets you see the edge of the Thar Desert, where you experience a desert safari. Day 1 Delhi, Welcome to Incredible India
You will be greeted & assisted by our representative at Delhi international airport and later transferred to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till next day.
Day 2 Delightful Tour of Old and New Delhi
Your day would begin after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, you get yourself ready for a personalized guide tour, which begins from the Old and Historic Delhi.  Morning- The first halt is Jama Masjid and Red Fort. Then the guide will arrange a cycle rickshaw tour, which will let you catch a closer insight of old era and the very illustrious Anarkali Bazaar of Chandni Chowk. At Chandni Chowk, we would further take you to Khari Baoli Spice Market – the largest spice market of Asia, which is a true delight for eyes.  Later, you will visit the Humayun’s Tomb and the 12th century Qutab Minar. Afterwards, the imposing boulevards and buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Residence), the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys and India Gate will be experienced from the vehicle. Day 3 Delhi - Agra, Tour Of Romance And Exaltation Begins
After breakfast, pack yourself for a road trip to Agra – the Old Capital of Mughals.  On arrival, visit Agra Fort - a UNESCO world heritage site. Make the overnight stay in your hotel room a memoir of the events of which you were the part. Breakfast
Day 4 Taj Mahal Sunrise Visit
At dawn, visit the incomparable Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world and symbol of love, to observe the effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this masterpiece. This momentary reflection of romance will captivate your heart by awe. Return back to your hotel for a delectable breakfast, while a part of you is still living in romanticism.
 
Day 4 Agra - Abhaneri - Jaipur
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive towards Abhaneri. The Chand Baori stepwell is built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest stepwells in the world and one of the most beautiful ones. Later, proceed to Jaipur. You will reach the Jaipur by late afternoon.  Rest of the day is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 5 Jaipur, The Pink City Tour
Enthralling, historical Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state, Rajasthan. Renowned globally for its colored gems, the capital city of Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of a metropolis. Since the color pink was symbolic of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colors the city makes for a marvelous spectacle to behold. The morning is fresh as ever for you, and this is when you will have an excursion to Amer Fort. This palace is laid out over four layers and sits beside the shimmering Maota Lake.  Later visit the Maharaja's City Palace (the home of the erstwhile royal family) and UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar space observatory. Afterwards stop for picture at Hawa Mahal (the Palace of winds).
Day 5 Evening with Local Family
After a brief refresh, spend evening with the local family. It’s a great way to have a local experience in Jaipur. You will experience a great insight into the lifestyle of Indian family.  You will be part of a cooking class with the local family. Get a taste of true Indian hospitality thanks to this cooking lesson and meal in the home of a local family. You will learn few local dishes and how to prepare them with fresh ingredients.  End the experience by enjoying your meal, accompanied by lots of lively conversation, with the family. Day 6 Jaipur - Bundi, Rajasthan's Undiscovered Gem
After Breakfast, leave for the most ancient and peaceful town in Rajasthan - Bundi. A town with a charming nature, Bundi is filled with narrow laneways, blue-washed houses (ever visited Chefchaouen in Morocco - this is India’s version), picturesque lakes, untouched rural villages, bustling bazaars, India’s best chai and outrageously friendly people. Visit Garh Palace, rising from the hills behind Bundi is its main attraction, Garh Palace, one of India’s largest palaces, and a place where Indiana Jones dreams are made (despite its dilapidated state!). Then visit the ancient and intricate stepwells, all 50 of them, which are dotted throughout the city. Later explore Bundi’s Taragarh Fort and the 84-pillared cenotaph. Remaining time is at leisure. Overnight stay in Bundi. Breakfast
Day 7 Bundi - Chittorgarh Fort
Morning after breakfast, depart towards Udaipur. En-route, visit Chittaurgarh Fort - One of the largest forts in India. Chittor sprawls across a hilltop overlooking the town of Chittorgarh. Its precinct contains grand old palaces, gates, temples and towers – its magnificence has been inspiring travellers and artists alike for centuries.
Day 7 Chittorgarh - Udaipur
After breakfast, drive to reach Udaipur. On arrival, check in at your hotel.  Remaining day is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 8 Explore Udaipur
After breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Udaipur, which includes City Palace, Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum (has an interesting collection of dresses, turbans, musical instruments, dolls, paintings, the traditional puppets etc.).  Enjoy an afternoon cruise on the calm waters of Lake Pichola in Udaipur (subject to water levels) and take a stroll in the markets around the Lake. Later visit the island of Jag mandir. Remaining time is at leisure till next day. Breakfast
Day 9 Udaipur - Deogarh
Morning after breakfast, checkout and take the road drive to Deogarh. Village Walk In the afternoon, go for a nice walk in to the village. Hotel will send one of their staff to assist them. There is no fixed time for this. It can be done any time with prior information. Dinner on Mahal Terrace (Subject to Weather) Finish the day with a dinner on terrace of Mahal Palace. The guests will be received at the Mahal with the traditional tikka, and showering of flowers petals with the sound of the beating drums. In the evening they will gather in the central courtyard (alongwith other guests) and offer them a Safa/Chunri to set mood for the evening. This will be followed by a glass of alcoholic cocktail alongwith Rajasthani Tera Taal Dance. Then the guests will be taken to a terrace for Romantic Dinner. This will start with a glass of Wine Red/White, and served in "Thaal" with a wide variety of choices on the menu. Breakfast Dinner
Day 10 Deogarh, Rural Rail Ride
After breakfast, take a rural rail ride. Chugging on Train no 222 - you will have the opportunity to go on the train safari in Deogarh. It’s an amazing two hours spent on a meter gauge train which is the lifeline of locals. A nice pleasure trip in to the Aravali Hills by Meter guage train on 1930’s British Track. The track consists of 17 U shape bridges and 2 tunnels with lots of monkeys. The journey starts from Kamblighat (10 minute drive from Deogarh Mahal) where the station master single handedly mans everything.

The ride ends at Phulad and we will drive back to Deogarh which takes about 30 minutes.
Day 10 Deogarh - Narlai, Treasure Lost in Fold of Time
Later, drive to Narlai. The drive to Narlai takes you through an enchanting forestscape and narrow roads, which are at times occupied by herds of cattle, who have to be slowly shephered out of the way. After brief refresh go for a Village Walk and visit the Cave Temple.
Day 10 Mystical Dinner at Historic Stepwells - Optional
Wrap up the day aptly—with dinner at a 16th-century stepwell. Lit by nearly half a thousand earthen lamps, the stepwell looks ethereal under the starry sky.  Your ride for the occasion will be an ox cart, which will cover the distance of a few kilometers from the hunting lodge slowly.  At the stepwell, folk singers crooned Rajasthani melodies as you will be served authentic dishes from the royal era of the Rajputs. Day 11 Narlai, Leopard Safari
Leopard Sighting Jeep Safari Your stay in any hunting manor is incomplete without a trip to the jungle. In Narlai, you can experience the thrill of spotting a leopard just a few kilometres from the property. The rugged Godwad countryside around Narlai is an ideal site for Leopards. Hop on a jeep and head to the forest in search of the big cat and settle down for high tea in the wilderness.
Day 11 Narlai - Jodhpur, Sardar Market
Later, take the road drive to Jodhpur. On arrival, check in at your hotel. After brief refresh, visit the Sardar Market. If you want to get a feel of an old-city style market in Rajasthan, then Sardar Market is the place you must visit. The entire market is spread amongst narrow lanes and by-lanes with small and big shops outlining these lanes on both sides. The Sardar Market is especially famous for Bandhini, which is a traditional Rajasthani handcrafted cloth. Hand-dyed textiles, embroidered leather items like shoes and purses, small toys of camels and elephants and traditional Rajasthani silver and gold jewelry are some of the most common items that you shall find easily in the Sardar Market. Lacquer handicrafts, antiques, puppets, and other souvenirs are a few items that are one of the most beautiful items one can find in the Sardar Market. Day 12 Discover Jodhpur
After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur which includes visit to Mehrangarh fort and Jaswant Thada Later you may also visit the splendid Umaid Bhawan Palace and its fabulous Museum. Rest of the day is at leisure exploring local markets.

Day 13 Jodhpur - Delhi by Flight
Post breakfast, check-out from your hotel and you will be transferred to Jodhpur Airport to board a flight to Delhi. Arrive at Delhi airport, and one of our representatives will be in your assistance for hotel transfer.  Rest of the evening is free at leisure. Breakfast
Day 14 Delhi Departure
This glorious morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to New Delhi Airport for your flight for your onward journey.  Board your flight and fly back with memories to cherish for life. Tour ends. Breakfast

Booking Policy
Once you’ve selected your desired tour, all you need to do is forward a deposit of 20% plus air and train tickets costs per booking per trip to secure your place. You won’t need to pay your final balance until 60 days prior to your tour start date. If your booking is made within 60 days of the tour start date, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Note: International and domestic airline tickets and rail tickets are subject to full payment at the time of booking and are subject to respective airline booking, and cancellation policies.
Cancellation Policy
  • Note: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance with covid related disruption cover.
  • You can cancel right up to 30 days before the tour starts and we will refund your full land deposit and any progress payments made by you within 14 business days.
  • Note: Cancellation and rebooking policies are only valid for land part of tour not International and domestic airline tickets and train tickets.
  • Note: International and domestic airline tickets and train tickets are subject to full payment at the time of booking and are subject to respective airline and train operators policies for booking, rebooking and cancellation.
From 30 days before tour start date:-
  • If your tour is cancelled due to government travel restrictions, your deposit and any progress payments will be carried forward as full credit towards future travel with us with Zero fees.
  • If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. Vibrant India Tours will endeavour to recover as much of your funds as we can on your behalf or negotiate a credit for future use.
  • If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made. Vibrant India Tours will endeavour to recover as much of your funds as we can on your behalf or negotiate a credit for future use.
  • If you have to amend or cancel the tour from 30 days before the tour start date to the end date of the tour, any cost arising from it will be your liability and payable by you within 24 hours of amendment.
  • If the tour needs to be amended or cancelled due to sickness or covid related reason, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. Vibrant India Tours will endeavour to recover as much of your funds as we can on your behalf or negotiate a credit for future use. For solo travellers, a mandatory single supplement applies.
Passport Validity
Customers are required to provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days prior to the departure date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. In this instance, customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred.
Luggage
You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to domestic airline, default Check-in luggage is 15kg and Carry-on luggage is 7kg.
Fitness Level Required / Mobility
Our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair access, so, unfortunately, our tours are currently not suitable for wheelchair users and those less mobile.
Please note: a general level of fitness will be required. If you have any concerns please consult your healthcare provider prior to purchase/travel.
Sightseeing
Please note: In the event that entrance to a site is affected by changes in operating hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary where possible, will be adjusted or similar activity will be offered in its place (subject to availability).
