DAY 1: DELHI, WELCOME TO INCREDIBLE INDIA!
You will be greeted & assisted by our representative at Delhi international airport and later transferred to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till next day. Meals: Welcome Dinner Included.
DAY 2: DELIGHTFUL TOUR OF OLD DELHI
Your day would begin after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, you get yourself ready for a personalized guide tour, wandering through alleyways for an authentic Delhi street food which begins from the Old and Historic Delhi. Old Delhi is also the sparkling haven for food connoisseurs. This is the place, where you will relish tasting the unique traditional Mughal delicacies, which are prepared by expert cooks, who have inherited the trade from their forefathers. As you walk through the lanes and alleys, the feeling of Mughal architecture also takes your imagination by stride. The first halt is Red Fort- declared as world heritage site by UNESCO. Advance to the Jama Masjid – standing at a whopping 135ft it is regarded as the biggest mosque in India. Get back to the 300 years old real Mughal times of Old Delhi, and this is not possible if you do not go through the dingy and narrow by lanes and alleys. Continue the food safari theme tour with a vegetarian lunch at a local Sikh temple, Sheesh Ganj Gurudwara. After lunch, The guide will arrange a cycle rickshaw tour, which will let you catch a closer insight of old era and the very illustrious Anarkali Bazaar of Chandni Chowk. At Chandni Chowk, we would further take you to Khari Baoli Spice Market – the largest spice market of Asia, which is a true delight for eyes. Later visit the Gali Paranthe Wali (lane of parathas), which has been in operation since the 1870s. Parathas are one of the most popular unleavened flat breads in Punjabi North Indian cuisine, so taste some delicious variations with fillings like potatoes, cauliflower and cottage cheese. Late evening you will visit Akshardham Temple – biggest Hindu temple of the world. In the evening you return to your hotel and paint a picture of places you visited in your vivid memory. DAY 3: TOUR OF NEW DELHI
Welcome to a fresh new morning, after delicious breakfast begin your tour of New Delhi. This morning, you will visit the imposing boulevards and buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Residence), India Gate, and many more in Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi). Next, visit Raj Ghat (Gandhi’s memorial), Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus temple and Connaught Place. You can enjoy the lip-smacking south Indian food at Saravana Bhawan while being in Connaught Place. AGRA, TOUR OF ROMANCE AND EXALTATION BEGINS Later, pack yourself for a road trip to Agra – the Old Capital of Mughals. On arrival visit Agra Fort - a UNESCO world heritage site. In the evening visit the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of love and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset in the backdrop of this symbol of love. DAY 4: AGRA, SUNRISE VISIT TO TAJ MAHAL
At dawn, visit the incomparable Taj Mahal to observe the effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this masterpiece. This momentary reflection of romance will captivate your heart by awe. Return back to your hotel for a delectable breakfast, while a part of you is still living in romanticism.
A visit to Agra is incomplete without tasting it’s delightful local cuisine. This food tour of Agra will help you taste delicious street food dishes of varied Indian cuisines available from some of the oldest and most reputed food joints in the city. You will visit around some non-touristy markets of Agra city and taste some of the best local food dishes. You will visit around 7-9 different food places and taste the authentic local street food of Agra. This food tour can be enjoyed by vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians.
BHARATPUR After lunch, drive towards Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Be sure to take binoculars and a good camera! Overnight stay in a heritage hotel. Meals: Breakfast Included.
Day 5: BHARATPUR
After breakfast, visit Keoladeo National Park, an outstanding bird refuge that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This sanctuary has more than 230 species of birds. You can enjoy bird watching as well as a boat ride in this national park. At lunch time, you can satiate your hunger by having some of the famous Rajasthani or north Indian dishes like mawa kachori, pyaaz kachori, aloo ki sabzi, and many more. Later visit Bharatpur Palace and Museum. It contains a vast number of antiques, over 581 stone sculptures, 861 local art and craft wares and ancient scriptures. Overnight stay in a heritage hotel. Day 6: JAIPUR
After delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to Jaipur, “The Pink City of India”. Enthralling, historical Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state, Rajasthan. Renowned globally for its colored gems, the capital city of Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of a metropolis. Since the color pink was symbolic of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colors the city makes for a marvelous spectacle to behold. Rest of the day is at leisure. As the evening sets in, explore the bustling local bazaar & indulge yourself in shopping local handmade artifacts & jewelry. Enjoy the puppet shows and try some local Rajasthani dishes such as Daal baati churma, laal maas, ghewar and others. Meals: Breakfast Included.
DAY 7: JAIPUR, THE PINK CITY
The morning is fresh as ever for you, and this is when you will have an excursion to Amber Fort by jeep. This palace is laid out over four layers and sits beside the shimmering Maota Lake. Afterwards visit the Maharaja's City Palace (the home of the erstwhile royal family), Hawa Mahal (the Palace of winds) and visit its museum of regal clothing and textiles. Then we continue to the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar space observatory. EVENING WITH LOCAL FAMILY & COOKING CLASS Tonight, you will get the chance to visit a local family for a home-cooked meal and spend evening with them. You will experience a great insight into the lifestyle of Indian family. You will be part of a cooking class with the local family. You will learn few local dishes and how to prepare them from with fresh ingredients. So, find out some secret recipes, enjoy the dinner prepared by you with the family and chat with your welcoming hosts. Return to your hotel and live a memorable night. DAY 8: JODHPUR, MAKE ENTRY TO THE THAR DESERT
Make a morning checkout from your hotel and take the road drive to Ranakpur. On arrival, visit the beautiful Ranakpur Jain Temple. It is the largest and one of the most complex Jain Temple in India. Later you will be transferred by road drive directly to Jodhpur – “the Sun city of India”. On arrival, check in at your hotel. DAY 9: UDAIPUR, THE CITY OF MOSAIC ARCHITECTURE AND LAKES WELCOMES YOU
Morning after breakfast, checkout and drive to reach Udaipur. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Remaining day is at leisure. If you wish you have time to look around in the markets near Lake Pichola. Stay overnight at your hotel. Meals: Breakfast Included.
DAY 10: UDAIPUR
During the day enjoy the sightseeing tour of Udaipur, which includes City Palace, Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum (has an interesting collection of dresses, turbans, musical instruments, dolls, paintings, the traditional puppets etc.). Enjoy an afternoon cruise on the calm waters of Lake Pichola in Udaipur (subject to water levels).
