Day 1 Chennai, Welcome to Incredible India
You will be greeted & assisted by our representative at Chennai international airport and later transferred to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till next day.
Day 2 Explore Chennai
After breakfast, spend your day exploring Chennai.  Your morning will be spent visiting the iconic 7th-century Kapaleeshwar TempleParthasarthy Temple, and the San Thome Basilica, followed by a traditional South Indian lunch (own expense) in a local restaurant. Later visit the 17th-century Fort Saint George before returning to your hotel. Remaining time is at leisure till next day. Breakfast
Day 3 Chennai - Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel to visit the ancient city of Mahabalipuram, a popular UNESCO World Heritage Site located between Great Salt Lake and the Bay of Bengal.  Mahabalipuram is famous for its rock carvings and the beautiful 7th century Shore Temple, Pancha Pandava Rathas and Varaha Mandapa.
Day 3 Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
Later, we will drive you to the Puducherry (formerly known as Pondicherry), an erstwhile French colony. Located along the Bay of Bengal, this Union Territory offers bewitching views of swaying palms dotting pristine beaches, fishing villages, great sea-food, quality wine and backwaters.  Check-in to your beach resort and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Day 4 Pondicherry, French & Tamil Flavour
Today is all about adding French & Tamil experience to your holiday in India.  The most apparent legacy of Pondy's colonial past is the French and Tamil quarters of the town; separated by a canal.  Firstly visit the French Quarter, distinguished by the Goubert Avenue which runs along the Promenade Beach. The manicured layout of the avenue is lined with heritage villas and buildings and statues - the most significant part of Pondy's history.  Then cross the canal to visit the Tamil Quarter which has its own architectural heritage, best demonstrated by restored mansions (like Hotel Maison Perumal) which feature semi-public street verandahs, central courtyards and large windows. The Tamil Quarter bustles with activity all day long and displays the Indian side of Pondicherry. Afterwards, visit the unique Aurbindo Ashram, the city of dawn. This ashram promotes Aurbindo's ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as to unite the spirit and matter.  Later in the day, the tour will take you to Auroville, the township established in 1968 to celebrate the unity among human beings. The world's largest solid crystal can be found in this township. Breakfast
Day 5 Pondicherry - Tanjore
Have delicious breakfast and we will drive you to your next destination Tanjore, a city with 1500 years of impressive history.  After brief refresh, visit 1000-year-old Brihadishvara temple, one of the largest temples in South India. The Sacred Bull made from a single piece of stone is one of the significant highlights in the temple. Breakfast
Day 6 Tanjore - Trichy
Have delicious breakfast and take a drive to Trichy. Visit the Rock Fort Temple Complex. It presides over Tiruchirappalli, perched on an immense rock that's said to be 3.8 billion years old (this makes it older than the Himalayas!). It's the city's most prominent landmark. The complex consists of three Hindu temples, as well as a fort.  Later visit the Jambukeshwar and Srirangam temples.
Day 6 Trichy - Madurai
Later drive to Madurai. Check-in at your hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 7 Madurai Sightseeing
After breakfast, start your Madurai sightseeing tour. Madurai is a city with centuries of history and countless parts to discover. First visit Shree Meenakshi Temple. The 17th-century Meenakshi Temple is a the focal point of Madurai. The temple complex covers an extensive 15 acres, including the Hall of a Thousand Pillars and 14 towers that can be seen from across the city. Afterwards visit the Tirumal Nayak Palace, Madurai's second-biggest attraction. King Thirumalai Nayak built it as his residential palace in 1636 with the input of an Italian architect and it's a classic fusion of Dravidian and Islamic styles. The palace's distinguishing feature is its pillars and there are more than 240 of them.  In the evening, you can plan to experience the night at popular Shree Meenakshi Temple. A procession takes place during the ceremony where the bronze idol of Lord Shiva is taken to the bedchamber of the Hindu deity, Parvati. Breakfast
Day 8 Madurai - Munnar, Scenic Drive
After breakfast, take a Scenic drive from to Munnar, which is one of the highlights of the day. Munnar, probably one of the most enchanting hill stations in South India. Drive through lofty mountains of Western Ghats and admire the natural beauty of rolling hills and green valleys. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay. Remaining time is at leisure till next day. Breakfast
Day 9 Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, leave for Eravikulam National Park in the morning to see Nilgiri Tahr, a mountain goat found only in the Nilgiri Hills and the Western Ghats. Eravikulam National Park (Closed for the months of February and March) A wildlife park in the Kannan Devan Hills built to protect endangered animals such as the Nilgiri Tahr, a wild mountain goat species.  Offering a magnificent view of the nearby hills used as tea plantations, it’s one of the best places in Munnar for taking photos. Afterwards, proceed to Mattupetty Dam and capture the captivating views. Activities like horse riding and boating add more fun to your visit to the Mattupetty Lake. Later visit the Tea Estate. A beautiful high-altitude tea garden located outside of Munnar, the Tea Estate is a stunning part of nature that any traveler has to see at least once! There is even an old factory on the plantation where you can watch how tea is made and buy some souvenirs. Breakfast
Day 10 Munnar - Backwaters Resort
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and we will take you to your backwaters resort in Alleppey/Kumarakom. Today is all about relaxing at your backwaters resort on the banks on the backwater lagoons. Day 12 Backwaters Houseboat
Today, we will take you to Alleppey, often referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’, with its meandering lagoons, coconut trees, endless rows of paddy fields.  Your stay will be in the Houseboat. A smooth transfer will be provided to jetty point to embark on your excursion through the mesmerizing backwaters on a houseboat You will be cruising along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages. Spend your afternoon while sailing through the gorgeous backwaters of Kumarakom. In the evening, enjoy the dinner prepared on the houseboat. Stay overnight in your Houseboat. Breakfast Dinner
Day 13 Alleppey - Kochi
This glorious day after breakfast, take a short drive to Kochi. After brief refresh, start a guided sightseeing tour of Kochi/Cochin. Explore St. Francis Church- the oldest church in India, the imposing Santa Cruz basilica built by the Portuguese, the heritage sites of Fort Kochi and shop for antiques and spices.  Chinese fishing nets, the Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue are other highlights of the tour.  You will have several opportunities to find prized souvenirs such as spices and antiques while shopping at Jew Street. KATHAKALI DANCE Add a cultural tinge to the evening with a Kathakali dance performance at a popular cultural centre in Fort Kochi. The, colourful dance is not merely a dance. Day 14 Kochi - Goa by Flight
After breakfast, get a transfer to Kochi Airport from where you will board a flight to Goa. Day 18 Discover Mumbai
After breakfast, start your full day Mumbai tour with a private guide and experience the city in a more intimate fashion.  Start out at Dhobi Ghat, the world’s largest outdoor laundry. Here you’ll enjoy a snapshot of life in the city that most visitors don't see, as locals work and children play beneath colourful rows of drying clothes.  Continue to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to admire its stunning Victorian Gothic architecture, then visit the Prince of Wales Museum. With an exquisite exterior showcasing Indian, Mughal and British architectural styles, the museum is home to some 50,000 artefacts that tell the story of India. And experience the Mumbai of today, full of life and energy, at Crawford Market.
Day 18 Mumbai, Bollywood and Slum
Post breakfast, check-out from your resort and head to Goa Airport. Board a flight to Mumbai. Arrive at Mumbai airport, and one of our representatives will be in your assistance for hotel transfer. After hotel transfer get ready for Slum and Bollywood tour.  Your day will start with the tour of Dharavi Slum. Which is considered "Asia's largest slum". You will go for a long walk in the company of a guide who will have lot of stories to share with. After lunch, see the glamorous side of Mumbai as you begin the tour of Bollywood. Get behind the scenes glimpse of Bollywood filmmaking. You will be taken onto a movie set to witness filming and be given exciting insight into the mechanics of the largest film industry in the world. In the evening, drive past the homes of famous Bollywood stars in exclusive area of Juhu and visit Chowpatty beach. It is a favorite evening spot for courting couples, families, and anyone out to enjoy what passes for fresh air. Watching the glorious sunsets from this beach is a sight worth seeing.  Breakfast
Day 19 Mumbai - Udaipur by Flight
This morning after breakfast at appropriate time you will be transferred to Mumbai airport for your flight to Udaipur.  You will be greeted & assisted by our representative at Udaipur airport and later transferred to your hotel to check in.  Remaining time is at leisure till next day. Breakfast
Day 20 Udaipur
After breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Udaipur, which includes City Palace, Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum (has an interesting collection of dresses, turbans, musical instruments, dolls, paintings, the traditional puppets etc.).  Enjoy an afternoon cruise on the calm waters of Lake Pichola in Udaipur (subject to water levels) and later visit the island of Jag mandir. Remaining time is at leisure till next day. Breakfast
Day 21 Udaipur - Deogarh, Palace Stay
Morning after breakfast, checkout and take the road drive to Deogarh. Village Walk In the afternoon, go for a nice walk in to the village. Hotel will send one of their staff to assist you. There is no fixed time for this. It can be done any time with prior information. Dinner on Mahal Terrace (Weather permitted) Finish the day with a dinner on terrace of Mahal Palace. The guests will be received at the Mahal with the traditional tikka, and showering of flowers petals with the sound of the beating drums. In the evening they will gather in the central courtyard (alongwith other guests) and offer them a Safa/Chunri to set mood for the evening. This will be followed by a glass of alcoholic cocktail alongwith Rajasthani Tera Taal Dance. Then the guests will be taken to a terrace for Romantic Dinner. This will start with a glass of Wine Red/White, and served in "Thaal" with a wide variety of choices on the menu. Breakfast Dinner
Day 22 Deogarh, Rural Rail Ride
After breakfast, take a rural rail ride with a narrow gauge toy train. Rural Rail Ride Chugging on Train no 222 - you will have the opportunity to go on the train safari in Deogarh. It’s an amazing two hours spent on a meter gauge train which is the lifeline of locals. A nice pleasure trip in to the Aravali Hills by Meter guage train on 1930’s British Track. The track consists of 17 U shape bridges and 2 tunnels with lots of monkeys. The journey starts from Kamblighat (10 minute drive from Deogarh Mahal) where the station master single handedly mans everything.

The ride ends at Phulad and you drive back to Deogarh which takes about 30 minutes.
Day 22 Deogarh - Jodhpur, The Blue City
Later, drive to reach Jodhpur. Check-in at your hotel and relive the time in hand in complete leisure and composure. Breakfast
Day 23 Discover Jodhpur
After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur which includes visit to Mehrangarh fort and Jaswant Thada Later you may also visit the splendid Umaid Bhawan Palace and its fabulous Museum. Rest of the day is at leisure exploring local markets.
Day 23 Sardar Market
Later, visit the Sardar Market. If you want to get a feel of an old-city style market in Rajasthan, then Sardar Market is the place you must visit. The entire market is spread amongst narrow lanes and by-lanes with small and big shops outlining these lanes on both sides. The Sardar Market is especially famous for Bandhini, which is a traditional Rajasthani handcrafted cloth. Hand-dyed textiles, embroidered leather items like shoes and purses, small toys of camels and elephants and traditional Rajasthani silver and gold jewelry are some of the most common items that you shall find easily in the Sardar Market. Lacquer handicrafts, antiques, puppets, and other souvenirs are a few items that are one of the most beautiful items one can find in the Sardar Market. Breakfast
Day 24 Jodhpur - Jaisalmer, Oasis in the Desert
After breakfast, drive to Jreach aisalmer. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 25 Discover Jaisalmer
After breakfast, visit the Jaisalmer Fort. It is one of the last “living forts” remaining in the world and over a quarter of the original population still lives here. Afterwards visit the famous Jain Temples. Constructed by Jain Hermits, the Diwala style Jain temples of Jaisalmer are ancient temples, which were built during the 12th century. They are considered among the best and most beautiful Jain temples in the entire world. Later you will visit the beautiful Patwon and Nathmal Ji Ki Havelis, with some of the finest carvings.
Day 25 Desert Camp
After lunch (own expense), take a short drive to the Thar desert region of Jaisalmer and you will be transferred to the desert camp. After brief refresh, enjoy a camel ride over the shifting dunes atop a colorfully dressed camel. In evening, experience a breathtaking view of sunset over the sand when it casts a truly magical spell over the desert lands.  A night in the desert offers an ideal setting to star gaze. Sit beside a campfire, listen to the traditional music, and relish some of the authentic Rajasthani delicacies.  Overnight stay in the Desert Camp.

Day 26 Jaisalmer - Bikaner, The Camel Country

Day 27 Explore Bikaner
After breakfast, visit the historical Junagarh Fort- a 15th century Fort. Initially called Chintamani Mahal, this old fort has impeccable architecture, which is so marvellous that it’d leave you spellbound. There are themed areas – white, blue, red, gold colorful and what not. Bikaner’s ruler – Raja Rai Singh, built it in the 15th century and each generation from then added a section to this fort. Our favourite part here is a section called Badal Mahal, which is blue from the inside. It was designed to depict rain for royal children because it hardly ever rained in Bikaner. Later, visit a Miniature Art Studio. Rajasthan is famous for miniature paintings, a trend, which has supposedly started from Bikaner.  Breakfast
Day 28 Bikaner - Mandawa, Rajputana Architecture
After breakfast, drive to reach Manadawa. After hotel check-in and brief refresh, view some of the oldest and the best preserved Shekhavati paintings in the region. This region is like an Open Art Gallery where you may see hundreds of Havelis with beautiful paintings and carved doors/windows. Later, take an excursion to the local village to explore a traditional way of rural life in India. Enjoy a Jeep ride to visit 3 villages of Shekhawati. Breakfast
Day 29 Mandawa - Jaipur, Evening with Local Family
Later, proceed to Jaipur. You will reach the Jaipur by afternoon.  Have a relaxing afternoon. Evening After a brief refresh, spend evening with the local family. It’s a great way to have a local experience in Jaipur. You will experience a great insight into the lifestyle of Indian family.  You will be part of a cooking class with the local family. Get a taste of true Indian hospitality thanks to this cooking lesson and meal in the home of a local family. You will learn few local dishes and how to prepare them with fresh ingredients. End the experience by enjoying your meal, accompanied by lots of lively conversation, with the family. Day 30 Jaipur, The Pink City Tour
Enthralling, historical Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state, Rajasthan.  Since the color pink was symbolic of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colors the city makes for a marvelous spectacle to behold. The morning is fresh as ever for you, and this is when you will have an excursion to Amer Fort. This palace is laid out over four layers and sits beside the shimmering Maota Lake.  Afterwards stop for picture at the Maharaja's City Palace (the home of the erstwhile royal family), Hawa Mahal (the Palace of winds) and visit the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar space observatory.
Day 30 Bar Palladio - Optional
Evening After a brief refresh, visit Bar Palladio. Day 31 Jaipur - Abhaneri, Stepwells
After breakfast, drive towards Abhaneri.  The Chand Baori is a stepwell built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest stepwells in the world and one of the most beautiful ones.
Day 31 Abhaneri - Ranthambore Tiger National Park
Later, drive towards Ranthambhore. Reach Ranthambore by afternoon and make a check in at your wildlife resort.  Have the relaxing evening as you take the enjoyable retreat in an appetising lunch and dinner. Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Day 32 Ranthambhore, Living The Rustic Life
Early morning head for your first jungle safari in an open 4WD jeep in your ever-growing pursuit for animals and the imposing sight of tigers. If lucky, you may get a chance to see the king of the jungle trading the rugged terrains in his natural habitat. After lunch and spending a brief leisure time, you continue with an afternoon jeep safari trail inside the jungle to get the chance to encounter the elusive tiger.  Return back to your resort and enjoy a comfy stay all night. Day 33 Ranthambore - Agra

Day 34 Taj Mahal Sunrise Visit
At dawn, visit the incomparable Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world and symbol of love, to observe the effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this masterpiece. This momentary reflection of romance will captivate your heart by awe.  Return back to your hotel for a delectable breakfast, while a part of you is still living in romanticism.
Day 34 Agra - Delhi by Road - Varanasi by Flight
Later, you will be transferred to Delhi Airport by road to board a flight to Varanasi.  On arrival, you will be assisted at the Varanasi airport and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the evening is free at leisure. Breakfast
Day 35 Varanasi, Morning Boat Ride
After breakfast, visit the Ghats of Holy River Ganges to take an early morning boat ride along the Ganges River, as we explore the city. The Ganges is a constant hive of activity throughout the day, as hordes of people come to pray and immerse themselves in its spiritually cleansing waters. 
Day 35 Varanasi, Holy City

Day 36 Varanasi - Amritsar by Flight
After breakfast, bid adieu to Varanasi as you will be transferred to Varanasi airport for your flight to Amritsar. Our representative will welcome you at Amritasr airport and transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the evening is free at leisure. Breakfast
Day 37 Amritsar, Golden Temple
This glorious morning proceed to visit ‘The Golden Temple Complex’ where you can witness the unbelievable spectacle of Sikh Faith and traditional life style.  Brilliantly maintained and enormously beautiful, this place is so full of rituals and activities all day that no visitor would like to leave this place in hurry. Moreover, the communal feasting activity known as Langar over here goes on for 24 hours a day where anybody can participate in cooking, washing, cleaning, feeding and other activities at the Langar (feast) Hall; an event so full of warmth and graciousness that it’s experience can never be forgotten.  Later visit Jallianwala Bagh, a historical park where Jallianwala Bagh Massacre took place on April 13, 1919, in which British troops fired on a large crowd of unarmed Indians, killing, and injuring to several hundred people.
Day 37 Wagah Border Ceremony
Post lunch enjoy an excursion to Wagah Border during the evening. It is the only border crossing between India and Pakistan. A beating retreat ceremony between India and Pakistan is a must watch when touring Amritsar.  Later return to hotel and stay overnight. Breakfast
Day 38 Amritsar - Delhi by Flight
After breakfast, check-out from your hotel and you will be transferred to Amritsar airport for your flight to Delhi.  On arrival, you will be assisted at the Delhi airport and transferred to your Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Breakfast
Day 39 Delightful Tour of Old and New Delhi
Your day would begin after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, you get yourself ready for a personalized guide tour, which begins from the Old and Historic Delhi.  Morning- The first halt is Jama Masjid and Red Fort. Then the guide will arrange a cycle rickshaw tour, which will let you catch a closer insight of old era and the very illustrious Anarkali Bazaar of Chandni Chowk. At Chandni Chowk, we would further take you to Khari Baoli Spice Market – the largest spice market of Asia, which is a true delight for eyes.  Later, you will visit the Humayun’s Tomb and the 12th century Qutab Minar. Afterwards, the imposing boulevards and buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Residence), the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys and India Gate will be experienced from the vehicle. Day 40 Delhi Departure
This Morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel and at appropriate time you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport for your flight for your onward journey.  Board your flight and fly back with memories to cherish for life. Tour ends. Breakfast

Booking Policy
Once you’ve selected your desired tour, all you need to do is forward a deposit of 20% plus air and train tickets costs per booking per trip to secure your place. You won’t need to pay your final balance until 60 days prior to your tour start date. If your booking is made within 60 days of the tour start date, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Note: International and domestic airline tickets and rail tickets are subject to full payment at the time of booking and are subject to respective airline booking, and cancellation policies.
Cancellation Policy
  • Note: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance with covid related disruption cover.
  • You can cancel right up to 30 days before the tour starts and we will refund your full land deposit and any progress payments made by you within 14 business days.
  • Note: Cancellation and rebooking policies are only valid for land part of tour not International and domestic airline tickets and train tickets.
  • Note: International and domestic airline tickets and train tickets are subject to full payment at the time of booking and are subject to respective airline and train operators policies for booking, rebooking and cancellation.
From 30 days before tour start date:-
  • If your tour is cancelled due to government travel restrictions, your deposit and any progress payments will be carried forward as full credit towards future travel with us with Zero fees.
  • If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. Vibrant India Tours will endeavour to recover as much of your funds as we can on your behalf or negotiate a credit for future use.
  • If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made. Vibrant India Tours will endeavour to recover as much of your funds as we can on your behalf or negotiate a credit for future use.
  • If you have to amend or cancel the tour from 30 days before the tour start date to the end date of the tour, any cost arising from it will be your liability and payable by you within 24 hours of amendment.
  • If the tour needs to be amended or cancelled due to sickness or covid related reason, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. Single Traveller Supplement
For solo travellers, a mandatory single supplement applies.
Passport Validity
Customers are required to provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days prior to the departure date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. In this instance, customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred.
Luggage
You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to domestic airline, default Check-in luggage is 15kg and Carry-on luggage is 7kg.
Fitness Level Required / Mobility
Our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair access, so, unfortunately, our tours are currently not suitable for wheelchair users and those less mobile.
Please note: a general level of fitness will be required. If you have any concerns please consult your healthcare provider prior to purchase/travel.
Sightseeing
Please note: In the event that entrance to a site is affected by changes in operating hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary where possible, will be adjusted or similar activity will be offered in its place (subject to availability).
