Day 1: DELHI, WELCOME TO INCREDIBLE INDIA!

DAY 2: DELIGHTFUL TOUR OF OLD DELHI
Day 3: DELIGHTFUL TOUR OF DELHI
Welcome to a fresh new morning, after delicious breakfast begin your tour of New Delhi. This morning, you will visit the imposing boulevards and buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Residence), the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, India Gate - a memorial raised in honor of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war, and many more in Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi). Optional: 2 Hour City Walk The Salaam Baalak Trust City Walk is an English guided tour of almost 2 hours conducted by children who used to live in the streets of Delhi before joining our Trust. Our guides are adolescents who have been fully trained as local guide and who want to improve their communication and speaking skills. City Walk gets the children's stories heard, gives people a view of their world through their eyes. Those who take the City Walk tour through the streets of inner city of Paharganj and the area around New Delhi railway station, led by a child who was once living and working on the streets will experience special tour far from the tourist main attractions. City Walk is an example of how a volunteer's creativity can translate into a unique and enduring programme, which is both popular and economically viable. Over the last seven years, thousands have taken the Walk and empowered a number of children, helping them to join mainstream life. Please note, there no city walks on Sunday and public holidays. DELHI – AGRA, TOUR OF ROMANCE AND EXALTATION BEGINS Later, pack yourself for a road trip to Agra – the Old Capital of Mughals. On arrival, visit Agra Fort - a UNESCO world heritage site. Make the overnight stay in your hotel room a memoir of the events of which you were the part. Meals: Breakfast Included.
Day 4: AGRA, SUNRISE VISIT TO TAJ MAHAL
At dawn, visit the incomparable Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world, to observe the effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this masterpiece. Return back to your hotel for a delectable breakfast, while a part of you is still living in romanticism. FATEHPUR SIKRI - ABHANERI (STEP WELLS) After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive towards Fatehpur Sikri-a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a perfectly preserved red sandstone ghost town, which was once the capital of Mughal Empire built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Later drive towards Abhaneri. The Chand Baori is a stepwell built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest stepwells in the world and one of the most beautiful ones. JAIPUR Later, you will be transferred to Jaipur, “The Pink City of India”. As the evening sets in, explore the bustling local bazaar & indulge yourself in shopping local handmade artifacts & jewelry. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning. Meals: Breakfast Included.
Day 5: JAIPUR, THE PINK CITY
Enthralling, historical Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state, Rajasthan. Renowned globally for its colored gems, the capital city of Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of a metropolis. Since the color pink was symbolic of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colors the city makes for a marvelous spectacle to behold. The morning is fresh as ever for you, and this is when you will have an excursion to Amer Fort. This palace is laid out over four layers and sits beside the shimmering Maota Lake. Afterwards stop for picture at the Maharaja's City Palace (the home of the erstwhile royal family), Hawa Mahal (the Palace of winds) and visit the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar space observatory. EVENING WITH LOCAL FAMILY & COOKING CLASS Spend evening with the local family. It’s a great way to have a local experience in Jaipur. You will experience a great insight into the lifestyle of Indian family. You will be part of a cooking class with the local family. Get a taste of true Indian hospitality thanks to this cooking lesson and meal in the home of a local family. You will learn few local dishes and how to prepare them with fresh ingredients. Day 6: DELHI, DELIGHTFUL TOUR OF DELHI
Morning after breakfast, checkout, and drive to reach Delhi. You will reach Delhi by late afternoon. On arrival visit The Lotus Temple, 12th century Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. You will have some time to look around in the markets near your hotel. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning. Meals: Breakfast Included.
Day 7: HARIDWAR, GATEWAY TO THE GODS
This morning post healthy breakfast check out from hotel and you will be transferred by road to Haridwar. It is the first place where Holy River Ganges reaches the plains descending the Himalayas. Haridwar is one of the best places to head to if you are in a quest for peace and spirituality. Visit some of the sacred Hindu temples and ashrams. Later take a stroll in the colourful markets of Haridwar. In the evening witness the auspicious ‘Aarti’ (holy ceremony) at the Ganges river ‘Ghat’ at sunset. It is a sight to behold, as the city is drenched in the divine aura of the glittering Diya’s and the ambiance is accentuated by the chanting of the mantras to appease the gods. The tiny Diya’s bedecked by flowers appear as if thousands of lamps are set to float in the river. Meals: Breakfast Included.
Day 8: RISHIKESH, YOGA CAPITAL
After Healthy breakfast, drive to Rishikesh which is an ancient city and is famous for its Ashrams and for grand viewing of holy river Ganges surrounded by mountains. Rishikesh is also known as Yoga Capital of India. Ever since the Beatles visited the ashram of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the late '60s, Rishikesh has been a magnet for spiritual seekers. The town’s lanes and alleys retain an old-world charm, and it remains a wonderful place to relax and unwind among nature. Wander around and explore on foot. Venture down to the ghats lining the river and relax for a while amid the daily goings-on. Visit Laxman Jhoola- a divine bridge. For the adventurous, there are opportunities for white water rafting on the Ganga, Bungee jumping etc (All Optional). Meals: Breakfast Included.
Day 9: OVERNIGHT SLEEPER TRAIN TO VARANASI
Start your day with early morning yoga class to rejuvenate your mind and body. After breakfast explore the local markets and Ghats before we transfer you to the station to board an overnight train to Varanasi. Get a unique slice of Indian life on board an overnight sleeper train bound for Varanasi (approximately 14 hours). 2ndA/C Overnight Sleeper Train Ticket – Haridwar to Varanasi Included.

Day 10: VARANASI, HOLY CITY
You will be welcomed and assisted at Varanasi station and transferred to your hotel to check in. After breakfast explore the Varanasi visiting Kashi Vishawanath temple, Banaras Hindu University, Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple and various other attractions located in the narrow lanes. Later take an excursion to Sarai Mohana Weavers Village. Sarai Mohana is famous for its silk weaving and most of the locals here are involved in the craft. As night falls, we head to the holy Ganges River to board your exclusive boat and witness the sprawling Aarti possession, a devotional Hindu ritual which involves numerous small candles being lit inside cups made from leaves and flowers and floated down the river – an unforgettable experience. Stay overnight at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast Included.
Day 11: VARANASI
Early morning transfer to the Ghats of Holy River Ganges to take an early morning boat ride along the Ganges River, as we explore the city. The Ganges is a constant hive of activity throughout the day, as hordes of people come to pray and immerse themselves in its spiritually cleansing waters. We will then go on a walking tour of the city, exploring its medieval streets, intricate temples, and busy markets, abuzz with the general cacophony of Indian life. Later take an excursion to the ancient Buddhist site at Sarnath where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after becoming enlightened. Meals: - Breakfast Included.
Day 12: BODHGAYA, THE CRUCIBLE OF BUDDHISM
After breakfast proceed to Bodhgaya, the crucible of Buddhism, Bodhgaya was where Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment beneath a bodhi tree 2600 years ago and became Buddha (the 'Awakened One'). The city is a sheer delight for history aficionados and those seeking spiritual enlightenment. Visit the Mahabodhi Temple complex - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the most hallowed spot in town where the bodhi tree flourishes inside the temple complex, amid a beautiful garden setting, its roots embedded in the same soil as its celebrated ancestor. Explore Thai Monastery, Indosan-Nippon Japanese Temple, Archaeological Museum, and many monasteries and temples. The ambience is a mix of monastic tranquility, and small-town hustle, underpinned by an intensity of devotion that makes it endlessly interesting. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya. Day 13: DELHI BY FLIGHT
At appropriate time, you will be transferred to Bodhgaya Airport to board the flight to Delhi.
On arrival You will be welcomed and assisted at Delhi airport and transferred to your hotel to check in. Stay overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Domestic Flight Ticket - Varanasi to Delhi Included.

Day 14: DELHI DEPARTURE

If you decide to rebook or reschedule right up to last moment before tour starts, your deposit and any progress payments will be carried forward as full credit towards future travel with us for up to five years with Zero fees.
If your tour is cancelled due to government travel restrictions, your deposit and any progress payments will be carried forward as full credit towards future travel with us with Zero fees.
If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made.
